I must say, Quel...your eyes look very sexy with your new-old natural hair. There's a spark there...I dig it!

@L.Britt- Sexy eyes? I got sparks? I can dig that. Thanks!

And you look good too!
L

Gotta say ditto and welcome back!

Welcome back! Your hair looks great.

Beautiful! The twists are so pretty- you have such amazing eyes. Welcome back to the nappy side :)

Very pretty eyes. Very pretty hair. This is my first - and hopefully - last attempt at going natural. I love it - I finally feel like me!! Welcome back to the other side.

good look, quel.

Thank y'all! I feel all beautiful and welcome and inspirational and stuff. :P

yeaaaaaahhhh!! welcome back to the fold!!! 'bouts time...

You're so pretty. Very photogenic. Love the hair!

Hi Quel. I just found your blog on Afrobella. Congrats on going natural again. This time, it'll stick! I went natural for the first time last year and I'm never going back to the P.E.R.M! BTW, great blog, love the format!

I kicked the perm in 1998 and haven't looked back.

Happy to be Nappy!!!! Gwarn then!!!

@Cymple- Thank you!!

@Kaki- I'm positive I'll be at Afrobella's on the regular. I'm glad you like my spot. You're welcome here anytime. :)

@VincyBwoy- Hey silly. I was nappy for about 90% of our years together, so I'm not surprised you like me back this way.

What a beautiful picture! I love your hair! I've been natural since around 2001. It's so nice to have the hair that you were born with! : )

You look great. But your eyes have always been pretty.

Love Mom

Quel...your eyes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Hey cuz! It't been a while! Thanks for the compliment. I really miss Memphis everytime I hear from kinfolks. I miss y'all.

Well I loved your blog and especially this part about the natural hair well um me myself am trying to get natural but Im afraid it wont look good but when I see you and other persons with natural afro hair wauw I like it its beautifull but Im afraid mine friends wont like it but I still love to be myself and have mine own style so I admire those who do so too.

Love it and I will get natural and once I do I will write you about it to tell how I experienced it. Im from The Netherlands Antillies, Curacao. Age 21 and I am at the start of getting natural :D

Clinique Beauty Reviews!

  • During 2009 and 2010, I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of 20 U.S. Clinique Insiders. As a Clinique Beauty Insider, I did monthly videos and written reviews of Clinique cosmetics and skincare products. There are new Insiders now, but my 2010 reviews are still over there. A few of the best ones from my 2 years with them can be found on Clinique's Youtube and Facebook pages. Enjoy!
